The new WiFi™ modem leaves you free to roam up to 15m, without wires. Share with friends or connect other compatible WiFi™ devices to the internet.

Minimum total cost over 24 months with an E1762 USB Modem: $576 for 1GB plan, $816 for 2GB, $819 for 6GB plan & $1176 for 7GB plan. Minimum total cost over 24 months with a WiFi™ Modem: $648 for 1GB plan, $888 for 2GB plan, $987 for 6GB plan & $1176 for 7GB plan.

The Fine Print: Not for sale in Northern Territory or Tasmania. 1) Data includes uploads and downloads. Exceed your data allowance & speed is limited to 128Kbps for the next 250MB. Use more and your service will be unavailable until the first day of your next usage period, unless you purchase a data top up (max 3 per month). Service cancellation may apply if you download continuously or if your use adversely impacts other users. 2) Ability to change plans only available within this range of plans. BYO plans can change up or down once per billing month. 24 month plans can change up plans anytime, or change down plans after 3 months and can be changed once every 3 months. 3) With a Post-Paid plan on the same account. 4) Broadband speeds are available in the Optus Dual Band (2100MHz / 900MHz) network. BYO customers will need a dual band (2100MHz / 900MHz) modem to access full coverage areas. Outside of these areas you will fall back to Optus’ GSM/GPRS network. Peer to peer speed is limited to 32Kbps. 5) Leave anytime just pay current month’s pro-rated spend and any outstanding amounts. 6) 24 month connection required. The full Post-Paid Price (PPP) of the USB modem is $149 and the WiFi modem is $192. Each month the PPP/24 is paid off your modem (including your contribution if any). Leave anytime, just pay outstanding balance of the PPP owing, the current month’s pro-rated spend, plus $250 if you leave within the first 6 months.
