Oasis Street Connect Bus

Oasis Street Connect Bus

The Oasis Street Connect Bus is an outreach initiative run by the Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network, sponsored by Virgin Mobile.

Operating on the inner-city streets of Sydney, the bus offers homeless young people a chance to reconnect with family and friends, plus access to information on counseling, crisis information, and drug & alcohol services.

Inside, the bus has laptops, wireless broadband, mobile phones and printing facilities. These can be used by homeless youth to get in touch with family and friends, search for permanent accomodation, organise resumes, look for jobs, and more.

After a recent makeover by Virgin Mobile, the Oasis Street Connect bus is now back on the streets doing what it does best – helping those who need it most.

The Oasis Street Connect Bus is a free service.
