Virgin Mobile brings the V Festival down under in 07! After many years rocking the UK, the V Festival is finally heading down under. And we at Virgin Mobile Australia are literally putting the ‘V’ into the V Festival, as its major partner and sponsor. Major acts already announced include Pixies, Pet Shop Boys, 2manydjs, Gnarls Barkley, Groove Armada, The Rapture … and the good times just go on and on! No doubt, it is going to be HUGE. The V Festival will rock Sydney on March 31 and then roll onto the Gold Coast for April 1. South Sydney Youth Services In 2007 Virgin Mobile continues to support South Sydney Youth Service. SSYS offers a range of services that include practical assistance with employment, accommodation, education programs, mental health and drug and alcohol counselling, community arts and performance. Approximately 40% of the Service's clients are Aboriginal young people, most are unemployed, with a significant number falling into the category of long-term unemployed. In other words, SSYS helps people when they need it most! More info visit: www.det.nsw.edu.au/eas/youth/publica/southsyd.htm Stretch-A-Family Stretch-A-Family (SAF) provides foster placement and residential care for 12 - 18 year old homeless adolescents, working closely with them to break the cycle of homelessness. SAF provide a safe and nurturing environment in order to bring about a long term resolution to meet their physical and developmental needs, in which young people are empowered to make choices about their immediate and long term future. Like SSYS, SAF are helping those most in need and giving them a fantastic opportunity to get on with their lives! Always looking! HOW should I send my proposal? Our sponsorship plans for 2008 are now finalised and our sponsorship budget sadly has now all been allocated.
