Getting started
Signing up is easy. First up you will need to create a new account. Just enter a Username and Password and you are right to go! All other personal information will remain confidential – at no time will your personal information and privacy be compromised.
A New You: To change your username just log out and return to the main log in menu where you can create a new username at any time.
Come Back Soon: Your username and password will be stored so that you don’t need to enter them every time you log in.

Main Menu
Once you’re logged in, you’ll automatically land here – but from then on, the choice is all yours!
- Lounge s: lists all lounges.
- Lounge Mail : access your personal mail.
- My Profile : create and edit your personal profile.
- Search : find other users with similar interests.
- Contacts : access your friends list.
- Friend Finder : new randomly matched friends are sent to your inbox daily.
- Change Login: Change your personal login.

1. LOUNGES
Join a Public Lounge:
Select the Lounge icon to join a public lounge. A menu of active lounges will appear with the most popular ones at the top of the list.
Check Out Other Users:
Once you’re inside a lounge, you’ll want to check out who else is there! To take a peek at other users’ profiles, choose the user you want to view and select their profile page from the menu list. The profiles of other users look just like yours, except their passwords are not visible.
Help:
Select 0 whilst in any lounge to access a Help screen.



2. LOUNGE MAIL
Your INBOX:
- To get into your Inbox, select Lounge Mail in the Main Menu OR Select the inbox icon (manually, or using the #3 hotkey) when you are in a lounge.
- From your inbox, you can compose a new message, delete messages or manage your preferences.
Composing Messages::
- Select the pencil icon (or use #2 hotkey) located at the top of the inbox screen.
- Enter the name of the person you are sending to in the “To:” field – make sure it is spelled exactly right or they won’t get it! Type your message in the “Msg” field. Select Next
- You then get a preview screen where you can go ahead and send the message, add an extra person to send the message to, or abort the message.
Deleting Messages:
Delete Multiple Messages
- Select the trashcan icon (or use #4 hotkey) at the top of the inbox screen.
- You will be presented with these options for deleting mail:
- All on page
- Read on page
- Unread on page
- Delete ALL
- Select your desired option from the above list. For Delete ALL you will get a confirmation screen before deleting; the other options will delete immediately without confirming.
Delete Individual Messages
- Highlight the message you want to delete using the navigation pad on your handset then select the #4 hotkey (the trashcan icon) on your handset.
Your Inbox Preferences:
View/modify settings (default in brackets) for: Refresh rate (30 sec), Refresh link (on), Send Confirm (on), Emoticons (on), Emoticon Map (selecting this option will show you to view the emoticons available for messaging), Post Link (on), Menu Bar Links (off)
YOU’VE GOT MAIL!
New messages are indicated by a flashing red exclamation mark that appears over the inbox icon (the envelope) located at the top of the chat screen.
To retrieve your new messages, select the inbox icon (manually, or using the #3 hotkey).
Once you’ve accessed your inbox, your new messages will be displayed at the top of the list and marked with the symbol “[N]”. The new message alert (flashing exclamation point) will continue to be shown in the lounges until the new messages in your inbox are read.


3 . MY PROFILE
In this menu there are two mandatory fields and loads of optional fields (from sex to salary) you can fill in.
The optional fields are a great way to customize your online identity by providing more detail about you and your interests - the more info you dish out, the more other users will be able to find things in common and want to get in touch with you. Note: any personal contact information is always kept private and is not shared with other users in your profile.
UPLOADING YOUR PICTURE
Picture uploads are one of the most popular and exciting profile features. You can upload a picture from My Profile or via email.
Uploading a picture using My Profile:
On the My Profile page select Edit Username, which whisks you off to your personal profile page.
At the top of your profile page there should be a No Image icon. Highlight and select this icon using the navigation pad on your handset. This will take you to the “Upload Photo” screen.
- Select “Send Image Via E-mail”. You will then be presented with instructions for how to upload your picture.
- Select “OK”.
Uploading a picture via PC:
If you do not have a phone that supports picture uploading, you can upload a photo from your personal computer or laptop by sending the photo to the same address USERNAME@MYPIC.IT

4. Search MENU
You can perform a search on a number of different features in the application. Use the search function to look for other users and lounges that you want to join.
You can access the Search Menu from the Main Menu or Pound Menu.
Search for Other Users:
To search for other users just enter the criteria you’re looking for in the Search Menu and select Start Searching. There are heaps of categories to search for people, from name, age, sex to education and even salary (if they entered it!)
Search Lounges:
Enter a portion of the lounge name for the type of lounge you want to join and a list of all active rooms that contain that name will be displayed. Select the lounge you would like to join.

5. CONTACTS
Contacts is like your own homepage where you can manage your contacts, friends, favourite lounges and messages.
Check out other users’ profiles:
use the navigation pad on your mobile phone to move across the users in your Contacts list and press select to view their ASL.
Block users:
Choose the annoying, un-cool or offensive user from your Contacts and select their profile. From there select the “Block User” menu item.
Un-block users:
you can unblock users from your Contacts. Choose the user you want to unblock and select their profile. From there select the “Unblock User” menu item.
6. FRIEND FINDER
Check out if any of your friends are currently online in the lounges.
7. CHANGE LOGIN
By entering your existing username and password you can then update your login password.


HELP & SUPPORT
Go to the Help option (manually, or with the #0 hotkey) to gain more information about any page you are on.
There is a permanent Support User on your Contact list for help if you need it. The Support User is always online and is identified by a unique red icon. Just send the Support User a message and they will respond to you within 24 hours.
