Handset Payment Options: Anyone can buy upfront in-store. Postpaid mobile customers can also buy handsets upfront online or over the phone but are limited to one handset every three months. New and BYO Postpaid mobile customers, as well as customers continuing beyond the term of their 24 month plan, can also pay off a new handset in 12 monthly instalments. If you cancel your Postpaid mobile plan before the 12 months is up, just pay out your remaining handset instalments.
Included Value: can be used for calls & text to standard national and international numbers, as well as calls to 13 numbers & MMS to Oz numbers. Standard charges apply once included value is used up & for non-included call & messaging types. Our Fair Use Policy applies
Data: is counted per kilobyte and includes uploads and downloads.
Rollover Value and Data: any unused included value or data rolls over to the next month only, can be used once the next month's inclusion has been spent and may be forfeited if you change plan.
Bonus Data: available when you sign up before 31 October 2016. Bonus amounts are: 1GB, 4GB, 4GB, 7GB & 5GB for the $30, $40, $50, $60 & $80 SIM (only) Plans, respectively; and 500MB, 2GB, 5GB & 8GB for the $40, $80, $100 & $120 (24 month) Phone Plans, respectively. You will receive the bonus on top of your standard monthly data allowance (to use in Oz) until you cancel or change plans.
Online Bonus: available when you sign up online before 31 October 2016. Online bonus amounts are 2GB for the $50 SIM (only) Plan and 1GB for both the $50 & $60 (24 month) Phone Plans. You will receive the online bonus on top of your monthly data allowance (to use in Oz and in addition to other bonus data you’re eligible for) until you cancel or change plans
Disco not data music steaming: available when you sign up or change plans to a new $40 or higher postpaid (Phone or SIM) mobile plan. Activation may take up to 20 minutes. Streaming services subject to change at any time. Song downloads, data tethering, video content, non-music content such as album art, ads, authentication & app analytics are excluded and will incur data charges. Streaming services may require paid subscription fees & may not have apps available on all mobile operating systems. Suitable for one stream per service on mobile & tablet devices only.
International Calls Bonus: available when you sign up on $80, $100 & $120 (24 month) Phone Plans, as well as on $60 & $80 SIM (only) Plans, before 31 October 2016. You will receive unlimited standard international calls from Oz to the UK, USA, NZ, China, India, Singapore and Canada until you cancel or change plans.
Prepaid: You need at least a 1c balance to use your service (apart from calling 1800 numbers) and we may cancel it if you don't recharge within 180 days after your credit expires. Our Fair Use Policy applies.
Prepaid Data: allowance includes uploads and downloads and if you go over your inclusion, Virgin Internet APN excess data is charged at 0.2c/KB and Yes Internet APN excess data is charged at 12c/MB and deducted in 1MB units. You need at least a $1.03 balance to use data and the maximum data balance is 5GB (or 12GB on Prepaid Plus).
Prepaid Rollover Credit & Data: when you recharge with the same type of voucher before your credit expires.
