Upgrading a Post-Paid account
If you want a new phone along with a new plan you'll need to pay off your current handset and any outstanding charges and service charges for the current month.
Call 1300 306 787, and our upgrades team will talk you through it. Or, for some face-to-face advice, pop into one of our stores. Find a Virgin Mobile store.
You should be aware that:
- not all customers are eligible to upgrade
- we may need to run a credit check.

Upgrade from Pre-Paid to Post-Paid
To switch from Pre-Paid to a Topless or Cap Plan - without getting a new phone - call our customer service team. They'll make the change for you. And don't worry, you'll keep the same number.
If you want a new phone as well as a plan, call our sales team on 13 33 23 or wander into one of our stores and a sales assistant will sort it out for you. Find a Virgin Mobile store.
Before we make the switch, we may need to get some extra info from you and run a credit check.
