Q Can I keep my own number and bring it to Virgin Mobile?

A Of course! Just ask for your number to be transferred across to Virgin Mobile when you are activating it.

Q Is Bean Counter a limited offer?

A No. Bean Counter is here to stay.

Q Can I buy Bean Counter by phoning the sales team, or from a store?

A No. You can only buy Bean Counter online using your credit card. (Note that credit-card top-ups are only available to customers who are aged 18 or over).

Q if I buy a Bean Counter SIM, will I get Bean Counter rates whenever I recharge?

A You will get Bean Counter rates if you recharge with Bean Counter credit – and you must do this via the web. If you recharge with a standard voucher (eg purchased from a retail store) you will get standard rates.

Q Can I mix and match different rates and offers?

A Yes! You can switch between voucher types as much as you wish – all of our offers are available for purchase online, or you can buy selected vouchers from a retail outlet. When you recharge with a voucher, you get the offer associated with that voucher. If you had some remaining credit from a previous voucher, that credit takes on the new voucher’s rates and expiry. Remember that the awesome Bean Counter rate is only available online though – so you have to top-up online to get our best ever prepaid rate!

Q I am an existing Virgin Prepaid customer. Do I need to buy a new SIM to get Bean Counter?

A No! Just log into My Account, and you can recharge your phone with Bean Counter credit.

Q Can I use the ‘auto-top-up’ feature with any type of recharge?

A yes! You can select any of our offers to recharge with online – and that includes setting up an auto-top-up.
