Samsung's first product, in 1938, was - wait for it - noodles
They started making electronics in the 1960s and have since produced over 800 million mobile phones.
In 1982 Samsung launched their first PC, which used audio cassettes to load and save data. The floppy disk was an optional extra.
One of the world's biggest electronics companies, Samsung has been a pioneer in launching Android based mobile phones, including the popular GALAXY S II and Nexus models.
