Virgin Mobile customers will be able to dial SAFE (7233) to hear safety tips on everything from getting home at night, through to public transport safety information.

The best bit? It’s a free service and has been launched in conjunction with New Woman Magazine’s “How are you getting home tonight?” campaign featuring in their December issue.

Whether you’re out partying or heading home after working late (really you should be partying instead!), you may find yourself in a situation where you could do with a little support or some information about how to stay safe.
