If your mobile is busy, not answered, turned off or out of range… the caller will be sent straight to your Voicemail box so they can leave you a message.
Your Voicemail box will store up to 25 messages - new messages for 14 days and kept messages for 7 days, just call 212 to access!
Note: If you pre-pay, your account must be active (in credit) to access your Voicemail.
How do I use my voicemail?
It's as easy as dialling 212 on your mobile phone!
You can also use Quick dial location 1 in your mobile's phonebook.
Take a look at your phone's manual if you are unsure how to do this.
Your voicemail comes with its very own greeting.
But you can always record a Personal Welcome that expresses your individual personality.
To do this… it's as simple as following the instructions on your voicemail (dial 212).
It's a really good idea to set up a Security Code on your voicemail.
After all, you don't want others listening to your private messages!
To set up your Code, again just listen to the instructions on your voicemail (dial 212).
Your mobile lets you know you have a new message waiting by a "beep" and showing an envelope symbol on the screen.
Delete the message after you've listened to it, because it takes up memory space on your phone. You should delete it from your Text too.

A great alternative to Voicemail. Instead of listening to your messages, an operator takes your calls and sends you the message via a text-message
Your Virgin Mobile account is automatically set up with Voicemail, but you'll need to call into the Virgin Mobile Team on 1300 555 100 so we can activate your Page-mail. Don't worry… it's simple.
Once activated, you can change between Page-mail and Voicemail at any time by going into the 'diversions' section on your phone and keying-in 212 for Voicemail, or 258 for Page-mail.
