When's this happening?

We’re not going anywhere yet. 

The Virgin Mobile Australia brand will continue to operate over the next couple of years. We stop upgrading and selling new services on 15 June 2018, and all Virgin Mobile retail stores will be closed by the end of June 2018. After this date, Virgin Mobile customers will be able to visit Optus retail stores for sales enquiries, replacement SIM cards and handset repairs. 

What does this mean for you?

You can continue to use your service in the same way you always have. You can still enjoy your current Virgin Mobile benefits, and because we already use the Optus 4G network your coverage remains the same. 

Managing your account and paying your bill is still easy, you can do this in My Account or via the Virgin Mobile app.

However, you will be unable to recharge at Virgin Mobile stores.
